Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets out how Overwood Catering & Events, Corp. d/b/a Overwood Artisan Platters ("we," "us," or the "Company") uses and protects any personal information you provide when you use our website, www.overwoodartisanplatters.com (the "Site"), place an order, or create an optional account. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and any information you provide will only be used as described in this policy. We may revise this policy from time to time to comply with new laws or reflect changes to our services, and we will inform you of material changes before they take effect. This policy is effective as of August 4th, 2026.

Ordering & Optional Registration

You do not need to create an account to place an order, all standard orders can be completed as a guest. Creating an account is entirely optional and is currently only required to participate in the Overwood Rewards Program (see our Terms and Conditions). If you choose to enroll in the Rewards Program, we will collect the information described in that program's terms, including your name and email address, in order to activate your account and administer your rewards.

From time to time, our Site may offer surveys or contests. Participation is optional; declining has no effect on your ability to use the Site or place an order. Information collected through a survey or contest is stored on our servers and is not shared with third parties beyond what's disclosed in this policy.

We may also collect personal information when you contact our support team, in order to verify your identity and assist with your inquiry. Communications you send us may be retained to process your request and improve our services.

If you have a Rewards Program account, you may delete it at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Deleting your account will remove your associated information from our servers, though this may take some time to process, and deleted information cannot be restored.

  • Telephone number
  • Email address (and username, if you create a Rewards account)

Automated Decision-Making & AI-Powered Customer Service

Overwood Catering uses an AI-powered virtual assistant ("Lyro") to help answer customer questions, provide product recommendations, and assist with general inquiries. When you interact with this assistant, your messages may be processed automatically to generate a response. This assistant does not make final decisions that legally or similarly significantly affect you, such as accepting or rejecting an order, issuing a refund, or resolving a complaint, without the ability for a human representative to review the matter at your request. You may request to speak with a human representative at any time by emailing info@overwoodartisanplatters.com or calling (786) 333-9291.

We're committed to keeping your information secure and use reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards to protect it, including internal reviews of our data practices. However, the Internet is an open system, and we cannot guarantee that data or communications will never be intercepted by third parties. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Cookies

We use cookies, small files stored on your device, to help the Site function properly and to understand how visitors use it. We use traffic log cookies to analyze Site usage and improve our services; this data is used only in aggregate for statistical purposes and is not retained longer than necessary. You can accept or decline cookies when you first visit the Site, and adjust your preference at any time. Declining cookies may limit some Site functionality, and in some cases may prevent placing an order.
